CactusCoLab is building a drylands bioeconomy powered by nopal cactus. We connect producers, processing infrastructure, and markets to unlock the full potential of this resilient cactus as a source of food, livestock feed, renewable energy inputs, and bio-based products. In doing so, we turn a drought resistent desert resource into green livelihoods and climate-resilient agricultural systems.

We collaborate with research institutions, farming cooperatives, government agencies, and private enterprises across 18 countries. Together, we're building a thriving cactus bioeconomy that benefits smallholder farmers, protects ecosystems, and adapts to climate change.
